  HD direct ingest FCP

  I’ve read on several forums that it is possible to do direct HD ingest via Firewire into Final Cut with the HVX-200. I’ve got it working great with SD 480i, but as soon as I switch the camera over to an HD format, i lose the preview in Capture Now and it won’t connect.

  Even after trying endless different combinations of Capture/Input settings with camera settings, still nothing.

  Any ideas?
