HD content to the web
Hi, this is my first post and although I’ve done some searching I apologise if this topic has already been covered.
I have 7mins of HD footage (1920×1080 50i PAL) which I want to post to the web using this HD web player

I think the resoltion will be something like 640×360 but I’d really appreciate some advice or pointers on compression. I use FCP V6 and I’m trying to learn compressor but whilst the manual tells you what the software does, it’s not very helpful on offering good practice or advice.
I’m a bit of a newbie so any help welcome.

This topic has been covered a fair bit in this forum. Do a search for ‘compressor’, which will bring up quite a few posts about transcoding HD footage down to SD resolutions.
Browsing through the post, you should learn loads
