  HD Compression

  I am trying to post a commercial that was shot (720p) then edited (1080i) in HD in the Media100Hde. When I compress it to post it (trying to end up in the 640×480 range) I get massive amounts of lines and artifacts in the compression that don’t happen when I am just compressing SD material. I also tried downconverting it to SD but still the same thing.
  I even tried laying it off on Beta SP and loading it back in SD but I still get the artifacts when I do that. I have tried using h.264 and sorenson 3. Any suggestions from anyone out there on what I can do differently?
