    Hi everyone
    I want evaluate how to charge in a HD broadcast design project; like an opening and packaging TV show

    a 5000$ project in SD fomat, how to charge for HD 1920×1080

    After effects and Macpro workstation
    no output on tape considering

    I’m fortunate to not have to deal with billing but I’ve worked with local animators/motion graphics artists on the recieving end of HD projects.

    Since the files sizes will be 6 Mb per frame instead or 1 Mb, consider the amount of time it will take to render your projects. It isn’t linear – more likely about 3 times longer.
    The output can be tif or targa sequences or Quicktime movies. That too will take a bit longer but delivering files is much more convenient than videotape. If you factor that into your project quote you should be in the ballpark.
