    Hello,
I was hoping someone here could give me some information. The TV station I work at is moving all original programming to HD over the next few months. New HD equipment is being purchased to make this happen. I work in Creative Services as a designer. We are all on Dual processor Macintosh G5s. I was wondering what everyone else out there is using to create HD animated opens, bumps and lower thirds. My limited exposure to working in HD resolution has shown it crippling to productivity. I love the look of ESPN’s SportsCenter, and the stuff from FOX national. It looks fabulous in HD, was this animation done with 3D modeling software and After Effects on Desktop PCs? Or something higher end? I am just looking into what we might be able to purchase to enhance performance. I see a lot of great work I am just wondering how it was achieved.
    Thanks,
    Matt
