February 1, 2008 at 4:25 pmWell, there’s only one resolution for 720p, basically — I think you mean “highest quality”. Set your comp size to one of the two DVCPRO HD 720 presets, then render (through Make Movie) using Best Settings and an Output Module codec suitable for whatever app is receiving your render.
Examples of high-quality Output Module settings:
-TGA or TIFF sequence (use if your machine crashes a lot)
-QT Animation codec
-DVCPRO HD codec (for later editing in a DVCPRO HD timeline)
-Uncompressed 8-bit 4:2:2
-Photo-JPEG codec at 89% or so (if you don’t have enough storage space)If you’re going to DVD, try Animation.
Did that help?
