I found that I can nest a non-HD project into an HD 1080p project. The parent is HD 1080-60i while the child is NTSC DV at 1440×960. When I examine File.Properties, I notice that other than the Width and Height, the only other field that changes between HD 1080-60i and Custom NTSC DV (1440×960) is Pixel Aspect Ratio.

    HD 1080-60i says 1.0000 (Square)
Custom NTSC DV (1440×960) says 0.9091 (NTSC DV)

As far as I can tell, I don’t see any strange artifacts by doing this. When I preview, I see the child being played at 1440×960 inside a 1920×1080 frame and positioned via Track Motion correctly. The “black” areas will be filled in later.

So, are there issues nesting projects where the Pixel Aspect Ratio is/are different? Thanks in advance.
