When we finish a project and author the DVD, we keep that DVD as our archive and make a copy or copies for the client on an Alera tower. The tower is very reliable, but we find that when the program is long and we use a dual-layer DVD, maybe 20% of the time it doesn’t play properly for the client. We test it here before it goes out on a couple of different decks, but the dual-layer DVDs seem to be less stable and reliable. Does anyone have any advice so we can stop pissing our clients off! At someone’s recommendation, we use Verbatim DataLifePlus Inkjet Printable dual-layers. Thank you.

That is the correct disc to use. Make sure you are burning them at 2.4X speed or you will have problems. Also, what are you using to author?
