  • Having to render footage for two cameras

I’m working with footage from two cameras. One camera footage always has to be rendered when I put it on the timeline. The footage comes from a JVC camera. The footage that doesn’t have to be rendered comes from a DSLR T2i. Is there a faster, easier way to do this without having to render that footage?

The reason is that the footage is two different formats/codecs.

You should transcode the T2i to ProRes LT and then ideally make the JVC footage the same and you will not have to render.

You dont mention what format the JVC camera is, so hard to advise exactly how to process that but thats the answer.

    best wishes
