having to render all when putting clips in timeline
I have this problem…
We filmed footage with a Sony handycam HDR-HC1E PAL, in wide-screen format (16/9). We did not use the High Definition tapes, but the normal Sony miniDV tapes. We captured it succesfully with capture presets in audio/video settings ‘DV PAL 48 kHz Anamorphic’. Also for the sequence presets in audio/video settings, we chose the same settings. For the sequence settings in the sequence tab we put “CCIR 601 PAL Sq. (4:3), Anamorphic, Editing Timebase:25, Compression: DV PAL…
However, when we put the clips into the timeline the system asks to render everything (a red stripe occurs above in the timeline).
Why is this?
Should I change the settings (I already tried out a lot of different combinations but nothing seems to work out)?
I am using Final Cut Pro 4,5HD on a Powerbook G4.Thanks…
