Having problems reconnecting long DV clips
Fairly green FCP user having problem with his system here. Per the manual, I created OfflineRT files & edited in multicam mode. The original files are large, 40 min. + jobbers that are splt into a bunch of ~ 9GB subclips (I suppose this is normal???). I highlighted all the clips in the browser, selected reconnect media & tied all the files to their originals. When I hit return…nothing happens; the same old offline clips are still in the timeline. What am I missing here (probably something obvious). Pre-thanks!

Well, nevermind is the word. Figured out that I had to leave the clips in the timeline as un-collapsed multiclips before the media would reconnect…but you already knew that… 😉
