    Hi all,

I’m trying to create the effect of a floating head (it’s silly), and for some reason all of the mattes I apply are causing effects that I can’t explain. It puts the layer I’m matting and repositions it into the lower right corner and it’s impossible for me to do anything with it at that point. The position only changes when the matte is applied, otherwise everything is where it should be. But I need to matte out the body.

Here is an image that shows what’s happening…

Make sure you have the latest version installed otherwise
    Turn off MPE hardware.

    THANKS!

Turned off MPE hardware and that worked like a charm. Any explanation as to why that causes that?

Do you have a supported GPU?
