having issues linking navigation buttons for multi-page chapters menu
Hi, folks,
I’m relatively new to Encore, and I’m trying to build a multi-page Chapters Menu for DVD. I’ve designed the menu in photoshop and have followed several tutorials to figure out the file structure and hierarchy. When I import as a menu into Encore, the first page and subsequent pages show up fine, but I can’t get the buttons at the bottom of the page to link between pages (ie., the button for scenes 7-12 will not direct to page 2 but simply re-loads page 1 of the menu). Encore allows me to link the navigation button to the first button on the second page of the menu, but when I test it it simply re-loads page 1. I’ve tried several things, from changing the file prefix–(+), (+>), etc.– to changing the type of menu (“Normal,” “Next,” etc.), but nothing works. I’m attaching a couple of screen grabs below to let you see how I have things currently set-up. I will greatly appreciate any suggestions for what might be going wrong and how I can fix it.
