We are currently using a window vista 64 bit home premium laptop with a dual-core processor, 4 gb Ram and 320 gb HDD. For quite some time now, it has been able to render while our big computer (windows 7 64 bit, quad-core, 8 gb ram and 1 tb HDD) has not ever been able to render.

Now the vista laptop won’t render either. We have rendered over 30 cooking shows using this program and are not understanding why it is stopping now.

    Any ideas?

What version of vegas are you using? What was the footage shot on? What are your project settings? What are your render settings? We need more info to help you.

Try rendering to Sony AVC format and use the Internet 16:9 HD 30p template. This template is made for internet videos.
