  Having big trouble with Cinema tools / Final Cut Pro neg cut list

  I have been assisting a filmmaker with a short 5 minute film on some post production stuff he is planning to finish on 16mm and has been cutting this project for the past year and a half.

  We are at the stage where we are exporting the neg cut list from Final Cut Pro using our database from Cinema tools to give to the neg cutter so they can make a silent answer print.

  At first it had a number of dissolves and fades which were causing some problems with the list I took these out and exported the list again, some cuts are OK while others are as much as 60 frames off from the Window burn. Unfortunately I have not found any consistency with this problem.

  I have checked the database and the quicktime matches up to the window burn, I have also tried a number of different things that do not seem to work.

  I want to know if I am missing anything or if there is anything else I could do to remedy this problem.
