Having an odd reproducible problem in Vegas pro 11
Hi all,
First thing is my specs: Very clean Windows 7 64bit on a 2500k, 550ti and 8 gigs RAM. Files are on a 7200 RPM drive. Drivers all clean and up to date.
I have a strange problem with video playback in Vegas 11. When I import some MP4 files I shot (which play through fine on VLC) only the first four minutes or so of the video plays. After that, the image freezes and the audio continues to play. I’ve messed with playback settings and have got nothing.
Another symptom is the thumbnail looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/dVzET.png .
Has anyone encountered this problem before?

1/- Have you matched your Project Settings to your Media?
2/- Is it you have Media with 120fps? I can see a tiny reference to this 120fps in the Media Pane. Very odd frame rate?

The media is in 30fps, actually. My project settings are all in order. On some further examination it appears the video freezes exactly at the 5 minute mark, and this is the case with multiple video files.
I’m baffled!
