Having a strange problem opening bins
I have been working on Adobe for a year and moving back to Avid this week and ran into a small but annoying issue. Every time I open a bin or create a new bin it shows up at the top of my screen and I can grab it or figure out how to prevent the bin from opening this way. Or is there a way to set up the bin to open in a designated area? I’m working on Avid 2018.8 Windows 10

Hey Kevin,
For new bins, I am unaware of a way to designate an area for avid to open them to.
As for already created bins that you’re reopening or want avid to open them in the same layout every time you hop in your project you can go over to Window > Bin layout and save a layout that avid will remember. You can also load different layouts depending on what task your doing and easily switch between them once created.
