Having a moving object over your video
I do not know the correct term for it, but what I am looking to do is have a transparent highlighting circle (or arrow) move with a part of my video (like the blur that track someone’s face in the news)
I want to highlight something in my video to make it more noticeable to the audience, how can I do that in AA 7.0

The easiest way :
Create a new solid black layer…make it the same size as your comp. Close the visibility. Create a new circular mask using the oval mask tool the size you need the reveal to be. Turn on the visibility. Set the mask to substract. Adjust the opacity of the black layer to your liking. Now keyframe the mask shape and adjust the position of the mask.
