  Have to keep clicking

  This is new: have to keep clicking on View Clip in order to see any clip in the viewer. I’ve never had to do this before. I used to just double click on the clip in the been and it automatically opened in the viewer. I trashed prefs., still continues to happen. I’m running FCPHD 4.5 on a G4 laptop. I’ve edited several projects without incident. This new development is annoying. Any suggestions?
