Have moving grafics that are studdering after render?
Posted by Don Cobble on August 28, 2015 at 4:08 amI have made an intro that has Text coming and going and side to side. Some text move smoothly, some text kind of Jump and then smooth out. Is there a setting to get a smooth render out. Its 40 seconds and an intro I plan to use over and over, after I get a smooth version. All text is same kind, just vary in pan crop settings. Any Ideas please?
Thank YouPC 1

You have given zero information that would enable anyone to help you, other than your moving text is not smoothly. That could be caused by a host of reasons. At a minimum, you need to provide project settings–frame size, frame rate, etc. Render settings–codec, frame size, frame rate, etc. And finally, how do you know this? Preview? Rendered file? Posting a YT video of your “problem” would be extremely useful, as well as screen shots of your project and render settings. There’s a good chance that you are simply animating your text too quickly for the frame rate you’ve selected so that there is judder. However, until you provide more information, don’t expect a lot of answers, except guesses.

you are simply animating some of your texts too quickly.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

studderings. Its the final render output you are to judge.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

August 28, 2015 at 12:38 pmIf this is all Generated Media you can try Video Supersampling. Open the Master Video Bus Track (Ctrl+Shift+B), right-click on it and choose Insert/Remove Envelope | Video Supersamplng and adjust the envelope to see the results.
According to the help file, Video supersampling can improve the appearance of computer-generated animation by calculating intermediate frames between the project’s frame rate, allowing you to create smoother motion blurring or motion from sources such as track motion, event pan/crop, transitions, or keyframable effects.
While you’ve got the Master Video Bus Track open, you can also add a Motion Blur envelop as well to smooth the appearance of the motion and make it more natural looking.

August 30, 2015 at 1:23 pmWayne,
The project is set 1920×1080 29.97P
Maybe I should set it to 59.94 to give more frame rate?
I tried to upload a clip cant seem to get it to workPC 1

Again, you haven’t provided a lot of information. However, I see that you did your filming at 30P. If that’s the case, then you should keep it at that frame rate and figure out WHY you’re getting the “judders”. Delivering content at 1080 60P is problematic since its difficult finding devices that will even “play” those rendered files. On the other hand, you might do a test render at 60P and if your problems disappear, then you know that you are animating too quickly and you need to slow it down or try Video Super sampling and/or Motion Blur as suggested by John Rofrano in a previous reply.
