  Have 2 import 24hrs worth of DV footage into FCp 5.1 how would you do it?

  What is the best way to import 24hrs worth of footage into FCp5.1?

  I was doing batch captures and logging individual clips, its been taking a long time,
  I just found out that i can also use the following technique…
  i can just import the whole clip into FCP, highlight the recently imported hr long clip then going under View and press DV STOP/START detect. By pressing DV START STOP DETECT it breaks each scene down by to everytime the camera person paused the camera which fortunatly or unfortunatly was often. DV/ Start Stop detect doesnt actually break the clips down it just leaves a marker at the beggining of the new clip…anyway how you you guys do it?
