Has something changed?
Posted by Phil Seymour on April 15, 2013 at 12:08 amJust noticed that if I select an audio track (VP12, latest build) and press V for volume envelope, the envelope is added to all audio tracks. Used to be for the selected track only, I thought. Not serious, just wondering if some of my marbles have escaped out of the bag.

I’m not seeing this behavior. I just added 3 audio tracks and pressed V and only the last track that was highlighted got a volume envelope.

April 17, 2013 at 12:19 amworks fine here, only highlighted track is affected, try un-installing the update, cleaning the registry and re-installing, or perhaps just boot Vegas while holding down ctrl+shift so it reverts to default settings, good luck.

April 17, 2013 at 2:43 amThanks John.. obviously something is affecting Vegas. Only plug-ins are Ultimate S and Vegasaur, although I have had those for previous versions with no issue.

Ultimate S is a passive script that does not affect Vegas’ behavior unless it’s running some action so I wouldn’t think that it could cause this. I don’t know about Vegasaur but scripts do have the capability to monitor events and respond with other actions so make sure that it isn’t monitoring envelope changes and responding with other envelope changes. (I doubt it but that’s something to check)

April 19, 2013 at 1:06 amI opened a new project and all was normal, then I remembered that I started the project with the weird behavior in an earlier build of VP12 and put it aside for a while before coming back to it. In the interim I had updated VP12 to the latest build. Maybe something happened there… but now all seems to be back to normal(ish).
Thanks guys for the replies.Windows 7 Pro64, i7 CPU, 16GB RAM, SSD boot drive, GTX 570 Graphics, Vegas Pro 12
