The world of single line fonts.
I wish to import a word using a font into c4d but as a single line spline. Obviously in illustrator you can export illustrator 8 file and turn it into a spline in cinema4d however you always end up with inside and outside lines.
How can I just create a single line spline of the word. Do I have to trace it in illustrator?

You can connect and delete the splines in c4d, but the holes in each letter will remain.
If you want to have one single spline for the whole word (as if it was cursive letter) then you would have to trace it manually.
