Has ANYONE had succes with After Effects 5.5 & DeckLink?
I’ve been using DeckLink Pro with AE 7.0 for the last few weeks – no problems.
However it was only the 30 day trial version which has now run out. While I wait for the full retail AE7 I am trying to use the decklink with AE 5.5. I re-installed the BMD drivers again, AFTER uninstalling AE7, but still no joy. I DO have the BMD option in video preview preferences, but when I try to preview it says:
” unable to creat QT image buffer — bad parameter (-50) ”
Oh, I’m using the latest version of Quicktime, but have also tried 6.5 & 7.o to no avail.
If anyone HAS had success with this, please let me know!

AE 5.5 was long before Decklink supported Windows, so I would guess that it is not compatible.
