    Hi there,

(If there is another part of the Cow I should be posting this question,
please point me into that direction, thanks.)

I’m looking for a way to connect a small and simple TFT monitor to my pc,
so I can use that as an output monitor for AE and Premiere Pro. The TFT has
    one composite input plug only.

My Canopus Storm2 card used to do this, but they don’t support the latest
version of AE en Premiere Pro. And since I’m putting together a new pc,
I might as well get a new card to do what I want.

So I’ve looked into the Matrox RT.X2, which sounds nice, but it might be a
bit overkill to what I want to do with it. I’ve been reading some stuff
about the cards from Aja.com and the Blackmagic Decklink. I think they
can do what I want at a price I’m willing to pay, but I’m not sure if I
can connect that card to the TFT screen I allready have.

Is there somebody here who knows I the Aja and/or Blackmagic cards can
be connected to a composite plug and then output the images from AE
    and PPro?

    Cheers,

    Robin

    Hy Robin,
I’m using a Black Magic for monitoring. I plug it though SD or components, but I could connect it through composite as well. If your monitor has composite video-in, you have not problem. Just choose the correct card.
