    hello.
    OSX, FCP latest version.

having an uncompressed 1080/50i sequence with audio mapped to 6 channel output.
running the sequence via hardware downconvert through the DL HDpro card,
the L/R (1/2) channels are swapped and the others (3-6) are muted.

running the same sequence with software downconvert,
all 6 channels are going out to SDI as expected.

something wrong with the DL prefs panel (software/driver) ?

    regards,
    kurt

    Hi Kurt,

Hardware down conversion only supports up to 2 channels (see technote in URL below and search for the text ‘audio’) but you’re correct about the channels being flipped. I’ve notified the engineers and they will be addressing this. Sorry.

    regards

    thank you kristian.
good to hear that it’s not me who is flipped.

thought, I have never heared about the 2 channel limitation
and this defenitely is a fact that should be mentioned in product brochures
    and not just in technotes.

btw.: is this 2ch issue also true for the multibridge series?

    thank you,
    kurt
