    Hi there,

I am tentatively swapping over from adobe to resolve for financial and workflow reasons.

I am just getting my head around the setup for faster editing and some advice at this point might be really useful.

    My setup at the moment

    Intel core i7-6700 CPU
    SSD – 250GB – ADATA SU650 – read 520Mb/s write 450Mb/s – Boot drive
    Hybrid – 1TB – Media drive 1
    Internal drive – 1TB – Media drive 2
    Graphics card – Geforce GTX1070
    32 GB RAM

Currently with Adobe, I am using my media drive one for project files, and source footage.
Media drive 2 is for proxy files and exports as well as a few common overlays grain ect.

I am often not sure whether I should use my SSD a bit more as it is a faster drive although I know you are meant to leave your boot drive to run your programs and use other drives for media.

Any advice on where to keep cache, proxies ect would be great, as well as any sugguested upgrades, SSD or graphics cards.

For context I also use AE a fair bit (not sure what the plan is for that yet :S)

    Thanks in Advance!
