    Hey all,

Looking to stock up on some hard drives – what’s the current opinion on most cost-effective archiving hard drives that are also fast enough to be employed for an edit? Any thoughts/experience appreciated.

“Employed for an edit” can mean so many different things. HD? DV? Uncompressed 8bit?
    DV50? They’re all different.

look to your left, and to your right. Every drive that you see advertised on Creative Cow is perfect for your application.

    “Isn’t there something cheaper ?” – you ask – NO !
