  Hard drive only readable

  Hi, Hoping someone can help me. I am new to the forums so I apologise if this has already been covered.

  I use mac computers – always have. My harddrive in the office worked fine with my previous laptop that ran snow leopard. I have since bought a new computer and when I tried to use the drive today it said it was readable only.

  Is it possible that the new Mac OSX isn’t compatible with the drive?

  I have never used a windows pc with the drive (as I don’t own one) and it’s my personal drive that sits on my desk.

  Any ideas?
