was wondering what hard type of hard drive would be most efficient in editing w/ hvx footage, especially 1080p? i’m on fcp 5 editing on both a power mac G5 and powerbook G4. is there some sort of benefit of using a raid or will an internal sata drive for the power mac and some sort of firewire drive suffice? thinking of going the g-raid route for my laptop. thanks for your suggestions/comments!

DVCPROHD runs at around 13Mb/second. Firewire 800 is good, SATA or Raid is even better.
