May 17, 2020 at 9:06 pmJust added a new free tool, Audio Sync and Remux, that enables the user to adjust the audio sync of previously rendered MP4 files. This enables an easy fix to files rendered with such apps as Handbrake and the Voukoder renderer inside of Vegas that produce files in which the audio stream is roughly 44 ms early. It also enables the user to simply replace the audio stream of the rendered file with the audio stream of a replacement file. Here is a screen grab of the UI.
Note that it does require the installation of FFmpeg. The only requirement is the executable “ffmpeg.exe” must be included in the user variable path of Environment Variables. For those having HOS installed, nothing more is required.
It can be downloaded here. https://tools4vegas.com/library/

June 15, 2020 at 4:58 pmJust added a new tool, Legacy Text Extractor which extracts Legacy (Text) titles directly from a Vegas project file. Used as a front end to the Vegasaur Text Generation Wizard, the user can easily convert from Legacy(Text) to the newer Titles and Text. Titles are copied to the clipboard (for use in Vegasaur) and also written to a text file.
Here is a screen grab of the UI.
A demo can be seen here. https://vimeo.com/429323147
The demo shows launch of the tool from the HappyOterScripts toolbar. However, HOS is not needed for use of the tool.
It can be downloaded here. https://tools4vegas.com/library/

June 16, 2020 at 3:16 pmIs insert freeze frame the same as vegas Inser freeze fram at cursor option?
-

June 16, 2020 at 3:50 pmNo. It’s a completely different approach. Vegas uses a velocity envelope to “freeze” the video. To unfreeze, the user needs to add two additional points and then set the second point back to normal, all of which takes time.
The script creates a lossless png image of the frame and inserts the image into the timeline at the position of the cursor which is a lot quicker than dealing with velocity envelopes, especially if you want to add multiple freeze frames as shown in the demo video.

June 16, 2020 at 6:32 pmYou must also place the png file in the same folder. To show the icon, you should restart Vegas or click on “Rescan Script Menu Folder” in the scripting dialog.

June 16, 2020 at 7:03 pmSomething is definitely amiss. I downloaded the file, extracted the files and copied the dll and png to the script menu folder in V17 and it starts without issue.
Try this. Navigate to the dll in your script menu folder using Explorer, right-click on properties. Make sure that Windows has not “blocked” the file which often happens when apps are downloaded from DropBox. If you see something like this, tick “unblock” and then apply.

June 16, 2020 at 7:55 pmSomething in your system is clearly preventing it from opening. Are you running anti-virus software? If so, that may still be blocking it since it was originally blocked by Windows. Try whitelisting it. Also, double check that you have installed the correct dll according to your version of Vegas.
