  Hangs in CS5 when creating solids or changing names

  Has anyone experienced this?

  CS5 is hanging on my machine, nearly every time I add some kind of solid to a comp, whether a regular solid, adjustment layer or null layer; espec. if I choose to rename it. Also hangs when changing names of comps.
  It’s a fairly large project; so
  – is this some kind of memory overrun or internal project corruption?
  – is there a way to purge this out?

  Hoping there’s a solution in the community…
