handycam look in post
I have seen shots that have been shot on a tripod(static) and then manipulated with set extensions and what not but then to make it more realistic there is this unstable shaky, zoom in/out handycam effect that really sells the shot. lets say you have a shot on a tripod and in post you add sky replacement/cg elements etc.. and you want to achieve that effect. what would be the best way to go about doing this? i’m doubting the wiggler would be much help. And i’m not sure about the mirroring the image edges.. there is an example of this effect in this rather interesting video that i saw on Andrews site.
