HANDLE ZOOM not working
I’ve had the DVX100 for almost three years now. Just recently the L/OFF/H setting on the handle zoom stopped working. The L/M/H setting works, but only in M mode. So, obviously there’s something wrong with the L & H modes.
Has anyone experienced this problem?
If I want to get this fixed, where do I go, and how much do you think it’ll cost me?

On the Panasonic site for the DVX100 there’s a link to find a service center. Probably not that expensive as it’s pretty uncomplex part of the camera but then again it really depends what the cause is.

Good grief – the neatest service center is in Dallas, TX, which is a 12 hour car ride from where I live. I guess I could ship it to them, huh?
This is such a bummer. I use the handle zoom all the time.

Yes- definitely ship it. There’s no reason to drive it there because they most likely won’t fix it while you wait.
