handheld camera script?
I’d like to be able to drop a script in that will take my camera’s (or any layer’s) keyframes, but add some spring / handheld physics based on the keyframes. For example, I’d like to have my camera at point A, then move it to point B, but have it give me a little pre-movement like you might have with a handheld move. Similarly, I’d like it to react to the speed of the camera movement with a little physics as it gets to point B.
Has someone out there already developed a drag and drop script for something like this? I’m hoping to find something that lets me keep my basic two keyframe setup (in this example), but adds all that slight randomness –based on the movement between the frames. (i.e. a fast move has more “reaction” than a slow short move). I’m thinking this would basically look like a highly dampened spring simulation except that I’d also like a small bit of continuous unsteadyness (like a handheld still) as well as some pre-movement (like the slight retrograde/unsteady movement as one gets ready to move the camera) which a basic spring simulation doesn’t account for.
Anyone already done this? or have links to open source solutions like this?
Thanks!
