Hallucination Effect
Hello all, I have been tasked by a horror film director to achieve some effects for his trailer. In the trailer he wants a hallucination effect happening to the trees in a forest as we move by them. I have to build a few comps for him to look at. My thought is to make some soft-edge masks in the natural flow of the bark and on a duped back layer of the same trees, add some weird undulation or liquid effect to it. Maybe try a glitch too. I’m endeavoring to create some signature look that the director will then want to use in the final film too. I’m an intermediate in AE so I can only go so deep. But I’d love to get tossed a few cool ideas that aren’t too ambitious. Thanks a million in advance – I love Creative Cow!!!
