Here’s a project I made for NAB that does that, with Aharon’s bird shape.

It’s really the exact same principles as the disintegration projects, but with an animated shape on the particles that the object turns into. Looks best with motion blur turned on.

There’s a DVD on the way very soon. Production of it is all wrapped up, so it’s just a matter of working out the distribution stuff. It’s more of a how to use pI this time around rather than a “how to make effects” one.

Elvis,

Everytime I try and load the Crows Project it corrupts (saying it isn’t a valid particleillusion project file).
Tried downloading it a number of times from two different computers with the same result.
Wondered if you had any ideas.

Have you got the 3.01a update from the wondertouch downloads page? That’s the usual reason people get that error. Otherwise, I’m not sure. It opens up fine here if I download it.
