Nope. Of course with a 1440×1080 timeline, it will be exported to 1920×1080 1.0 Square PAR, but there is no reason to convert all your footage before hand unless you’re mixing it in with footage from other cameras, doing heavy VFX work on it, etc.

1440×1080 1.33 PAR is a capture format and is a way of getting 1920×1080 quality with a bit of cheating on the part of the camera engineers. For all intent and purpose, anything exported with the intent of a normal person watching it should be 1920×1080 square PAR.

Thank u for the answer, I have another question,So When I want to make a bluray and I export the 1440by1080 timline to encore should I open an project of 1920by1080 or 1440by1080? or it doesn’t make any different? because at the I open 1440by1080 project, thank u.

The official BluRay spec supports 1440×1080 and does the desqueeze to 1920×1080 in the player. This may or may not be as high quality as “baking in” the desqueeze in a 1920×1080 file, I have to say I’ve never authored a 1440×1080 BluRay.

Again , thank u for the respond, I will start burning my blurays in full hd, but 1 last question, the same that told me about the converting, burning his blurays in a way that he can fill a 25gb disk with a movie that is 2:30 hours long and he still get a very good quality, when I’m burning I can fill up to an 1:40 max when the disk is full, any idea how to do it the way he does it? I don’t know if it makes any difference, but he uses fcp, and I’m using PC with premier cs 6.5, do u know of a preset that can give the same results as he has? Thank u.
