Halftone effects
Hi there, can anyone help me out/point me to a good tutorial on how to create strong halftoning effects? The style im going for is similar to the background images and general theme of Curtis Jinkins work over at https://www.cjinkins.com/. Also the vipers logo by Make Believe. https://makebelievestudio.net/projects/identity
Ive been looking around for a while but cant seem to find anything useful so any hlp would be much appreciated!

Sometimes effects like that are best done without using an effect in photoshop, but rather, actual media. Scan (or photograph) actual newsprint or a texture up close – some sort of halftone you like, then add it to your design, by masking, multiply, etc., until you get the look you want.
