    Having a bad hair day.

I’m using hair to make some tube worms on the ocean bottom. I’ve got them set up, and colored, but I don’t want them to be straight. When I add Kink or Curl in the material I can preview render them in the editor and I can get them to look how I want them to, but when I render to the Picture Viewer they are curled all the way down to the ground, no matter what the settings are. And I can’t get them to change if I change the settings. What is the secret to making hair behave? Why do they render differntly in the final render than in the editor?

I think I may have found the solution, have to play with it to make sure. I was looking for some sort of gravity setting and I found it in the Forces tab on the Hair object. It was set by default to -9.something. I set it to 0 and it looks like it’s working.
