i have some hair as grass

    with wind and turbulence

1 – why does it react strongly at first and then tape off in its movement [there are no keyframes for wind and turb.]

2 – how can i make the grass have more random strengh/rigidity, so it doesnt all behave in the same way

3- show animated in the timeline doesnt show all the things that i have animated. i select all the objects, then show animated?

4 – can net render render movie files as well as image sequences? also, is there a way to set net renders output to be the path set up in the render settings?

sorry for all the posts, its been a busy weekend. thanks

[espinoza] “4 – can net render render movie files as well as image sequences?

No. Rendering movies would require multiple systems accessing the same files in write mode, which is an impossibility on most OSs. has nothing to do with C4D, simple computer thing.

Not directly. You can work with links or hack the resource files.

Use textures for your hair parameters.

[espinoza] “show animated in the timeline doesnt show all the things that i have animated. i select all the objects, then show animated?”

Check if all your layers are actually set to show deformations, particles etc. Also check LOD settings.

Normal behavior. Check the hair material settings to minimize the damping. Also animate the forces (positions, parameters). Hair seems to ignore forces that do not have any animation attached to them. Could be a bug.
