    Hey all,
Had a hard disk problem last night, couldn’t fix it, so I wiped the disk clean restored the operating system and let time machine reload my profile. After reading some other posts it seems like I might do well to reload FCS. Is this true, or can I take it as it came off of time machine? How about some CS4 apps
AE PS etc. I’m doing software update even as I type, and will do that until Apple says I’m done.
    Thanks
    Don Walker

Ltos of system files do not get copied into Time Machine. There’s a good forum for Time Machine at the apple.com discussions area.

If you musto rely on Time Machine, you really should invest in one of Apple’s Time Capsules, relatively cheap and designed to work hand-in-glove. but you should also have a cloner for your System files.

Get a good cloning tool (most are free) and a good backup application and then stick with it.
