    I wonder if this weird notice that popped up on my Browser screen (and OLD Firefox) might conceivably be real and perhaps related to the Big Hack reported in the news today:

    Running old software does leave you susceptible to all sorts of attacks. I doubt it has anything to do with the WannaCrypt attack which is targeted at Windows computers but it does use an SMB exploit and Mac supports SMB as well so you have to be careful.
