H264/MP4 Bitrate problems
HI gang – I’m finishing off a tv ad for a client and I’ve reached the point where I need to upload the master file to the agency’s server. They have a very precise spec, the main tickboxes being: PAL: H264; MP4; 720×576; FHA; CBR; 5Mbps video;128kbps audio @ 44.1khz. My source material is all HD 1080p 48K khz. I’ve figured out everything except the bit rate, no matter what I do the files export to around 3.3mbps and 125 kbps. I’ve been on to Adobe and they say this is normal behaviour and shouldn’t be a problem, the agency gatekeeping software for the upload fails my file every time. Any ideas for a workaround or what I might be doing wrong? I’m working on 64-bit Premiere Pro/AME CC 2014 on a powerful pc (Quad core Intel Xeon @3.10 Ghz), NVIDIA Quadro 600 video card, 24GB RAM, windows 7. The file looks and sounds fine once exported, it’s just not meeting the agency/broadcaster spec and I don’t understand why a ‘pro’ programme wouldn’t deliver a ‘pro’ spec.
Any help greatly appreciated.
