    Hi Group,

Thanks in advance for any help.

exporting from standard dv timeline 720 X 480
    on mbp
    30 minutes multicam project

    1. 2 final forms:

a/ one to throw up on website for client to review
b/ one to use for creation of dvd in either idvd or dsp

    Question:

For both outputs Should I send to compressor or just use export using QT conversion?

I am wondering if people have refined what is best when working in DV NTSC 720 X 480 — exporting to website in h.264 for a 30 minute project.

I’ve done research on the wonderful cow, Larry Jordan, Ken Stone, and del.icio.us and have found differing approaches.

    For the creation of DVDs:

This for putting work up via youtube or other such sites and considering the flash conversion:

When I send to compressor to put on my website — using settings h.264 at 800mbs (sorry not at computer ) for QT 7
it took forever– over 8 hours! — what about these settings– LAN, 300 mbs, the other settings in compressor– ? what has your experience been?

    Thanks for any help.
