h264 question..
Can I render in AE in full res a 1920×3240 video?
I tried to encode in photojpeg in AE but does not allow to limit the bitrate, I want to encode in H264 but it have the size limit to 1920×2000.. it is possible to render in large formats?
Any tips accepted.
What I need is the full resolution (1920×3240), a maximum bitrate of 27Mbit/s and maximum acceptable file size (~ 30 min / ~ 5Gb).

Version of AE?

What is the purpose of the file at that frame size? -
AE CS5 – OSX – that video is played in a videowall formation 1×3 full HD (1920×3240)
example:
[_1920x1080_]
[_1920x1080_]
[_1920x1080_] -
I’m not an Adobe expert but I am surprised that a program such as After Effects CS5, which should handle 4K files, has such severe limits on H.264 export.
You may need to export as Animation or some other uncompressed format and try a higher end encoding app such as Telestream Episode.

I don’t know if you can render this in AE directly.
I have CS 5.5 – I did this.
Built a comp in AE at 1920 x 3240. Saved the file.
Went to Adobe Media Encoder and then brought in the AE file – and picked the comp. Selected Mpeg-2, then took the HDTV preset and double clicked it.
And I can verify it DOESN’T work. I can’t get Adobe Media Encoder to have the frame height above 1088.
You’re going to have to try a different compression tool. What else do you have?
