H.264 playback in QuickTime
I have a 3.1GB H.264 .mov file saved to my hard drive, where it plays fine when I open it in QuickTime. However, when I burn that same file to a (data) DVD and try to open it from the disc (whether in QuickTime, VLC, WMP, whatever), it stutters like crazy. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? It’s driving me crazy.

Sounds like the datarate of the video is too high to playback from the DVD. What is the datarate of the clip?
