Using Premiere CS4. 720p sequence exported to h.264 with 48khz AAC audio.
Playback in VLC player is good. Playback in QT Player, the video and audio are out of sync slightly (easy to see on lip sync).
I have found a few discussions which suggest deleting the audio in QT Pro then inserting the audio track to solve the problem.
    Any other suggestions?
    Thanks

I found another thread, I know not where, suggesting that Quicktime player on Windows may play video and audio out of sync due to some fault with the qay QT handles audio drivers – but in fact it is ok on a Mac and when loaded onto a streaming host.

    Seems ok now.

If they’re on Windows 7, WMP12 can play H.264 .mp4 files natively without Quicktime so you could go that route to avoid Quicktime playback. Obviously it doesn’t help if they’re on Vista or XP though.

If you have a bootcamp Mac you can test yourself. In fact it’s one of the many reasons why I recommend every Mac user have at least one Mac with Bootcamp installed and Windows 7 on it.
