I have been instructed to possibly create a Blu Ray for Disc for a television series and would like to know your take on which file type works best.

H264 has a better picture-quality than MPEG2HD especially and a lot advantages according to bitrates and discspace on the optical disk.

but be awared, if you´ll create motion-menus you need to encode them to MPEG2HD, the rest of the clips could be trancoded to H264.

    cheers

Hi Cristopher, sorry to be off topic, cant help with the blu-ray thing.. Wanted to ask you about one of your old posts, where you said yoou had instructions from atto on how to increase the span depth, for a 24 drive raid setup… Did that succeed? And was it hard to do? With my new 45-drive chassi, 16 drives seems… Well, not enough:)

    Best Regards

    David
