H.264 lags in flash player
I am encoding an h.264 .mov file out from compressor. It is being used in a flash player. The video consists of a motion-intense intro graphic, then 3 seconds of black, then a static interview. When playing in a flash player, the graphic plays fine, but between the black and the interview shot the video gets out of sync with the audio. The audio gets ahead of the video
The clip plays fine in QuickTime
I re-exported the clip without the black and graphic and the interview is now in sync. Unfortunately I need the graphic and black.
I know h.264 isn’t ideal, but our site managers say they need it to be in a flash player. And we need h.264 rather than .flv so we can be iTunes podcast compatable with our file.
We also tried 2 different flash players which both yielded the same results.
Any thoughts on fixing this problem or a workaround?
Thanks,
Thatcher
